On Friday 20th March line dancing returns to the hall. This is an absolute beginners group, but if you've done it before and want to refresh your feet, you'd be very welcome too. The classes will be every Friday afternoon from 12.30 until 2pm, cost £5 per person. More details from Sue on 07772 757748 after 10th March.

Memory Wheelchairs is a local Support Group based in Kendal, providing wheelchairs and walking aids on a "loan out" basis when people are in need, on a short term basis. Learn more about their goals and progress by visiting their WEBSITE or their FACEBOOK PAGE.
We can highly recommend this service to anyone who needs a loaned wheelchair or one of the other mobility aids that Sarah has in her stock. This is such a friendly helpful service, please do check them out and contact them if you have need of them.
The weekly Knit and Natter group at the hall meets tonight from 6.30pm - 8.30pm in the Club Room. Open to all, £2 per session, includes tea/coffee and cake each week. Bring your current WIP and chat with friendly others over their WIPs, or help plan and create one of the fabulous postbox toppers, or yarn bomb the village! Help is also available if you get stuck / as needed with a pattern or technique.
NB there is no Knit and Natter on Wed 24th Dec or Wed 31st Dec 2025.
22nd April, 2020: I'm really pleased to be able to say that we are now a local collection point for Morecambe Bay Foodbank!
Morecambe Bay Foodbank will accept all donations but are especially keen to have:
Tins of: beans; meat(s); fruits; vegetables; fish; soup; tomatoes; rice pudding
Bottles of: squash; juice (esp. orange); jam; pasta sauce
Packets of: pasta; sugar; cereal; teabags; instant noodles; instant rice; biscuits; custard; instant mash
If anyone in Burton would like to donate to the food bank but cannot get to a collection box please message us and we'll arrange for a pick up from you by a member of the team, or if you prefer you can donate money directly to the food bank via this link, and thank you for all of your support so far.
