Knit and Natter at the Memorial Hall

The new weekly Knit and Natter group at the hall meets tonight from 6.30pm - 8.30pm in the Club Room. Open to all, £2 per session, includes tea/coffee and cake each week. Bring your current WIP and chat with friendly others over their WIPs! Help also available if you get stuck / as needed.

Here at BurtonWeb we are coffee lovers, so when we found a new coffee roastery almost on our doorstep we couldn't resist finding out more about it. Suzi and Alex Carrington have set up their roastery on the Keer Park trading estate in Carnforth and sell a range of wonderful coffees.

Since May 2018 we have been actively involved in the campaign to restore the derelict Grange Lido at Grange over Sands. The campaign group is now a Community Benefit Society and is working with SLDC, the site's owners, on restoration plans.
