Summer Fashion Show Fri 6th June 2025

A summer fashion show by Kitty Brown Boutique of Carnforth will take place at Burton Memorial Hall on Friday 6th June 2025, at 7.30pm, with doors open at 7pm. Tickets are £5 each and include a glass of wine or a soft drink, and may be bought by calling 01524 781306, or at the hall on Wednesdays between 12.30-4pm or 6.30-8.30pm. Or you can pay on the door. Coffee and cake morning Sat 21st June 2025

The next coffee and cake morning at Burton Memorial Hall will be on Saturday 21st June 2025, from 10am until 11.30am. With lots of delicious home-made cakes on offer, plus Kingsharp in the car park to sharpen your blunt things from 10am until 12 noon.

1. Mercy Ships – Fully equipped hospital ships providing medical and surgical assistance to the less fortunate in sub-Saharan Africa.
2. Rotary Doctor Bank – Funding for British volunteer healthcare workers to travel to a wide range of developing countries to treat patients and train doctors, nurses and midwives.
3. Polio Eradication – The last three types of polio need that extra help with vaccinations to eradicate the remaining cases in Afghanistan and Pakistan.
