No Warm Welcome Wednesday on 10th June 2026
There will not be a warm space (aka Warm Welcome Wednesday) at Burton Memorial Hall on Wednesday 10th June 2026, due to volunteers attending a funeral. Warm Welcome Wednesday will be back on Wednesday 17th June from 12.30 until 3pm as usual.

Burton Memorial Hall Annual General Meeting will take place on Tuesday 9th June at 7.30pm, it's open to all residents of the parish over the age of 18, and you can stand for election to the committee as well.

Every Friday afternoon the Beginners Line-dancing group takes place at Burton Memorial Hall. The classes will be from 12.30 until 2pm, and the cost is £5 per person. More details from Sue on 07772 757748.

Coffee and cake morning Sat 20th June 2026
The next mid-monthly coffee and cake morning at Burton Memorial Hall will be on Saturday 20th June, from 10am until 11.30am. In addition to delicious home-made cakes, they will also have Kingsharp in the car park to sharpen your blunt things. It's in aid of hall funds, so please do come along and support it.

Memory Wheelchairs (Kendal)
Memory Wheelchairs is a local Support Group based in Kendal, providing wheelchairs and walking aids on a "loan out" basis when people are in need, on a short term basis. Learn more about their goals and progress by visiting their WEBSITE or their FACEBOOK PAGE.
We can highly recommend this service to anyone who needs a loaned wheelchair or one of the other mobility aids that Sarah has in her stock. This is such a friendly helpful service, please do check them out and contact them if you have need of them.
