Coffee and Cake Morning Saturday 21st February 2026

The next coffee and cake morning at Burton Memorial Hall will happen on Saturday 21st February, from 10am until 11.30am, and we will have a choice of delicious home-made cakes on offer, plus Kingsharp in the Car Park again to sharpen your blunt things. Everyone welcome! In aid of Hall funds.

SAVE GRANGE LIDO

Since May 2018 we have been actively involved in the campaign to restore the derelict Grange Lido at Grange over Sands. The campaign group is now a Community Benefit Society and is working with Westmorland and Furness Council, the site's owners, on restoration plans. Here at BurtonWeb we are coffee lovers, so when we found a new coffee roastery almost on our doorstep we couldn't resist finding out more about it. Suzi and Alex Carrington have set up their roastery on the Keer Park trading estate in Carnforth and sell a range of wonderful coffees. The roastery is now open on Mondays 9am - 2pm.
