Christmas Bingo at Burton Memorial Hall 2025

There will be five Christmas Bingo Nights at Burton Memorial Hall again this year, the dates and beneficiaries are as follows:

Friday 21st November – Burton Bowling Club shared with Burton First Responders
Thursday 27th November – Burton Memorial Hall
Thursday 4th December – Burton Sports Committee
Friday 12th December – Burton Tennis Club
Friday 19th December – Burton Morewood School shared with Burton Drama.

Doors open 6.30pm, eyes down 7.30pm. All will have great prizes, a raffle, and refreshments on sale.

SAVE GRANGE LIDO

Since May 2018 we have been actively involved in the campaign to restore the derelict Grange Lido at Grange over Sands. The campaign group is now a Community Benefit Society and is working with Westmorland and Furness Council, the site's owners, on restoration plans. Here at BurtonWeb we are coffee lovers, so when we found a new coffee roastery almost on our doorstep we couldn't resist finding out more about it. Suzi and Alex Carrington have set up their roastery on the Keer Park trading estate in Carnforth and sell a range of wonderful coffees. The roastery is now open on Mondays 9am - 2pm.
