Coffee & Cake Morning - Sat 16th Aug 2025

Our next mid-monthly coffee and cake morning will be on Saturday 16th August, 10am - 11.30am, with Kingsharp in the car park to sharpen your blunt things again between 10am and 12noon. All welcome!

SAVE GRANGE LIDO

Since May 2018 we have been actively involved in the campaign to restore the derelict Grange Lido at Grange over Sands. The campaign group is now a Community Benefit Society and is working with Westmorland and Furness Council, the site's owners, on restoration plans. Here at BurtonWeb we are coffee lovers, so when we found a new coffee roastery almost on our doorstep we couldn't resist finding out more about it. Suzi and Alex Carrington have set up their roastery on the Keer Park trading estate in Carnforth and sell a range of wonderful coffees. The roastery is now open on Mondays 9am - 2pm.
