Burton Memorial Hall AGM Tues 9th June 2026

Burton Memorial Hall Annual General Meeting will take place on Tuesday 9th June at 7.30pm, it's open to all residents of the parish over the age of 18, and you can stand for election to the committee as well.

SAVE GRANGE LIDO

Since May 2018 we have been actively involved in the campaign to restore the derelict Grange Lido at Grange over Sands. The campaign group is now a Community Benefit Society and is working with Westmorland and Furness Council, the site's owners, on restoration plans. Here at BurtonWeb we are coffee lovers, so when we found a new coffee roastery almost on our doorstep we couldn't resist finding out more about it. Suzi and Alex Carrington have set up their roastery on the Keer Park trading estate in Carnforth and sell a range of wonderful coffees. The roastery is now open on Mondays 9am - 2pm.
