April Library Coffee Morning

Please note that the date given in the April Burton News for the Library Coffee Morning is incorrect. The date should be Monday 13th April (not the 6th).

Time will be 10am until 11am as usual.

Do come along and enjoy a hot drink and cake, and browse the library book drop cabinets too.

SAVE GRANGE LIDO

Since May 2018 we have been actively involved in the campaign to restore the derelict Grange Lido at Grange over Sands. The campaign group is now a Community Benefit Society and is working with Westmorland and Furness Council, the site's owners, on restoration plans. Here at BurtonWeb we are coffee lovers, so when we found a new coffee roastery almost on our doorstep we couldn't resist finding out more about it. Suzi and Alex Carrington have set up their roastery on the Keer Park trading estate in Carnforth and sell a range of wonderful coffees. The roastery is now open on Mondays 9am - 2pm.
