BMH Annual Christmas Market

Saturday 9th November 2024 at Burton Memorial Hall. Open 10am until 4pm. Admission £1, accompanied under-12's free. Lots of stalls with great gift items, Jan's Popup Café with delicious home-made food. The hall's HUGE used book stall. Also tickets will be on sale for the Burns Night Ceilidh in January and A Celebration of Simon and Garfunkel in February. Click image to see full poster.

Here at BurtonWeb we are coffee lovers, so when we found a new coffee roastery almost on our doorstep we couldn't resist finding out more about it. Suzi and Alex Carrington have set up their roastery on the Keer Park trading estate in Carnforth and sell a range of wonderful coffees.

SAVE GRANGE LIDO

Since May 2018 we have been actively involved in the campaign to restore the derelict Grange Lido at Grange over Sands. The campaign group is now a Community Benefit Society and is working with Westmorland and Furness Council, the site's owners, on restoration plans.
