Annual Art & Craft Exhibition at Burton Memorial Hall

The 2024 Burton in Kendal Art & Craft Society Exhibition will take place on Saturday 11th & Sunday 12th May 2024 from 10am-4pm both days at at Burton Memorial Hall. The guest artist is Shane Sidlow, and there will be an art display by the children of Burton Morewood School. Refreshments by Jan's Pantry will be on sale both days.

Here at BurtonWeb we are coffee lovers, so when we found a new coffee roastery almost on our doorstep we couldn't resist finding out more about it. Suzi and Alex Carrington have set up their roastery on the Keer Park trading estate in Carnforth and sell a range of wonderful coffees.

SAVE GRANGE LIDO

Since May 2018 we have been actively involved in the campaign to restore the derelict Grange Lido at Grange over Sands. The campaign group is now a Community Benefit Society and is working with Westmorland and Furness Council, the site's owners, on restoration plans.
