The next mid-monthly coffee and cake morning at Burton Memorial Hall will be on Saturday 20h July from 10am-11.30am, with lots of delicious home-made cakes. Plus Kingsharp in the car park to sharpen your blunt things - kitchen, garden or DIY implements can all be given a new lease of life. In aid of Hall funds. All welcome!

Here at BurtonWeb we are coffee lovers, so when we found a new coffee roastery almost on our doorstep we couldn't resist finding out more about it. Suzi and Alex Carrington have set up their roastery on the Keer Park trading estate in Carnforth and sell a range of wonderful coffees.

SAVE GRANGE LIDO

Since May 2018 we have been actively involved in the campaign to restore the derelict Grange Lido at Grange over Sands. The campaign group is now a Community Benefit Society and is working with Westmorland and Furness Council, the site's owners, on restoration plans.
